Il Sogno del Marinaio feat. Mike Watt + Sun+Dead

Il Sogno del Marinaio is one of a plethora of collaborative projects of legendary bassist and founding member of the formative Californian punk rock ensemble Minutemen, Mike Watt. The avant-garde trio, which includes Italian experimentalist Stefano Pilia (Massimo Volume, In Zaire) and percussionist Paolo Mongardi (Zeus, Fuzz Orchestra) alongside Watt, is releasing a new record on Bologna-based noise-rock label Improved Sequence. Terzo is out in May and Il Sogno del Marinaio are taking it on a European tour with a stop at MeetFactory.

The guests of the night will be Václav Havelka from Please The Trees with his son Šimon and their joint music project Sun+Dead, bringing their new EP Magic Drum. Released on the occasion of Šimon's 13th birthday, two of the EP's tracks feature Mike Watt himself on bass.
