2, 9 and 16 May / EVENING DRAWING (7-10 pm)
Drawing with a pencil, charcoal, ruddle etc. Live model, nude, figure / arranging a still- life with a model. Tutors: Filip Černý, Jan Slovenčík  

6 and 13 May / PAINTING (Elements of painting)
Color theory, picture composition, acryl, combined techniques / traditional painting tutorials / life studies / free creation / study of painting techniques corresponding to the student’s advancement, theme studies / acrylic, oil / color space, color area and mass, attempted after a relaxing and color mixing exercise / drawing, imprimitura, underpainting, painting alla prima, layered painting. Bring your own paint and brushes. Tutor: Aldin Popaja.  

7 May / STATUE (Statue in one day)
Follow your own inspiration, your draft, state of mind, emotional overload; you may create a statue, an object, a sculpture. Under professional leadership you will make your own composition from preselected material you will bring with you. Short time installation of the work at the Meet Factory premises.Tutor: Jan Slovenčík.  

7-8 May / STATUE (Statue in two days)
Follow your own inspiration, your draft, state of mind, emotional overload; you may create a statue, an object, a sculpture. Under professional leadership you will make your own composition from preselected material you will bring with you. Short time installation of the work at the Meet Factory premises. Tutor: Jan Slovenčík.  

14 May / PAINTING (Oil painting)
A one day workshop of oil painting, the process of picture making from stretching the canvas to the classical layered painting. Bring some examples of art prints with you (or choose from those at the studio).Tutor: Aldin Popaja.  

13-15 May / PLAIN AIR (painting and drawing)
Křivoklát Castle – picturesque, mysterious, beautiful and inspirational / In the footsteps of Mařák Painting Circle we will stroll in the Křivoklát landscape with a sketch book and pencil or a charcoal stick, or an easel and canvas / landscape painting weekend special, plein air creation / in the plein air, you will pursue drawing, wash drawing and water color, you may get as far as oil or acrylic painting on canvas / Spartan accommodation, two nights, right in the Křivoklát Castle! Tutors: Aldin Popaja, Filip Černý, Jan Slovenčík.  

17 May / LECTURES (A HISTORY OF 20 TH CENTURY ART - Adriena Primusová)
A chapter from the history of 20 th century art / Art in the USA after the Great War / Part II  

18 May / CONSULTATION / Kurt Gebauer, Maxim Velčovský (conslusion of semester)
Would you like to learn more about your creation, to move on, discuss what you have been doing? Bring your portfolio – your fine art, drawings and other works you wish to consult. Jiří Přibyl and Martin Imrich will analyze your portfolio with you.  

WINTER SEMESTER / ENROLMENT IN MEETF ACADEMY STUDIES / DRAWING / PAINTING / STATUE / WORKSHOPS
INFO: Study enrolment for winter semester 2016/17 will take place from September 1 to September 14, entrance interview on Thursday September 15, 2016 / 4 pm – 8 pm. Classes begin on September 19, 2016 according to individual studios timetable. MFA study program for the winter semester will be announced at the end of August.
