Arab Strap are a cult Scottish indie band who are celebrating thirty years on the scene this year with a new album and a series of concerts. This autumn, they will embark on an exclusive and limited European tour, playing just eight shows — including a performance on 22 November 2026 at Prague’s MeetFactory.

The band’s signature thunderous, melancholic sound, dominated by frontman Aidan Moffat’s vocals, which shift from spoken-word delivery and whispers to steadily building intensity, is pushed even further on the new record, Half-Told Tales, than in their previous work.

Remarkably, the album, due for release on 4 September 2026 — almost exactly thirty years after the release of their first single — moves effortlessly from disco and metal to post-rock and spoken word, while also incorporating elements of folk and electronic music, yet still retaining the band’s unmistakable identity.
