Mina Nasr (b.1983) is an Egyptian visual artist based in Cairo. Through his research on architecture, history and geography; Nasr's work is directed towards the concept of the modern identity and its impact on the culture of coexistence in the surrounding environment. He develops ideas by examining the issues and problems facing society. His main focus is on how visual communication creates shocking scenes generating a language of dialogue. In his projects, Nasr creates his elements from paper sculpture, drawing maps and installations, in fragile structure, showing them ironically into the space according to the intention; to create dynamic interactions that connect different relationships between elements and raise questions about the extent to which they can adapt to political and social events.
