The MeetFactory’s theatre dramaturgy wants to profile itself as an alternative „directors‘ ” theatre. An important role in the framework of the dramaturgy being currently prepared is played by foreign directors who were asked to work with Czech artists.

This cooperation is a long-term project which should ideally lead to an intensified connection of the Czech alternative theatre to the European context and it should be an inspiring experience of great artisitc value for the foreign artists. Arranging contacts and becoming aware of the European art scene is an important effect of such cooperation.

The MeetFactory’s theatre dramaturgy is not a stagiona, but a place where quality theatre projects originate. Bearing this in mind, the multiculturality of MeetFactory, which is a natural place of meeting of Czech and foreign artists due to its residential studios, is of specific importance. This cooperation is a long-term project which should ideally lead to an intensified connection of the Czech alternative theatre to the European context and it should be an inspiring experience of great artisitc value for the foreign artists. Arranging contacts and becoming aware of the European art scene is an important effect of such cooperation. It is crucial for the MeetFactory’s theatre dramaturgy to initiate and arrange international theatre performances.
