The Flea Market is returning to the Factory! 🍋💛🟡

On Sunday, August 16, in the backyard behind MeetFactory, in the shade of the highway pillars, with a summer drink in hand,accompanied by music from live DJs, the Flea Market will take place after a hiatus of several years. It will welcome over thirty vendors offering clothing and accessories, small furniture and decorations, houseplants, and books. The afternoon program will be extended by accompanying activities of  the MeetFactory Gallery section.

🟡Throughout the day, all exhibition spaces at the Smíchov factory will be open to the public free of charge: MeetFactory Gallery is hosting a large-scale installation by Polish artist Cezary Poniatowski, while Kostka Gallery will feature the newly opened solo exhibition by Julius Reichel, which the artist will present during a guided tour together with curator Ján Gajdušek. Julius Reichel will then lead a painting workshop for children (recommended age is from 3 to 18 years old). The backdrop for the program will be a mural by Tomáš Mitura at Galerie Zeď, an outdoor exhibition space in the MeetFactory backyard.

🟨While you’re hunting for new favorites pieces to your wardrobe, the Jin&Jin DJs will show up with a suitcase full of vinyls and spin up a juicy mix flavored with ’60s and ’70s rock ’n’ roll, psychedelia, and the dance-filled ’80s. In the second half of the afternoon, they’ll be replaced by the Ratar Explosion DJs - František Převorovský (Vellocet Roll) & Mejla Buršík (Vellocet Roll, ex Folks Old House). A purely bitter, groovy explosion, infused with soul, funk, and Latin music. 

💛 Admission to the entire event is free.
