Bohemian Like You: Operators (CAN)

Dan Boeckner’s insistent singing, so characteristic for the (recently re-formed) Wolf Parade, (one time project) Divine Fits and (already broken up) Handsome Furs, is taking the lead in his new outfit Operators, too. Releasing their debut “Blue Wave” earlier this spring and produced by Holy Fuck’s Graham Walsh, they gather raving reviews for their fresh take on contemporary new-wave. In October, the band consisting of Boeckner (guitars, vocals), Devojka (synths), Dustin Hawthorne (bass) and Sam Brown (drums) are hitting the old continent and will play their paranoia-fueled show at MeetFactory on Friday, October 7.
