Brandt Brauer Frick (DJ set) + TMA + NCOL

Berlin's acoustic techno pioneers are coming back to Prague. Brandt Brauer Frick, a trio of classically trained musicians consisting of Daniel Brandt, Jan Brauer and Paul Frick, were brought together in 2008 by their passion for club music. On the groundbreaking debut You Make Me Real, they presented a fresh fusion of an organic sound palette contrasted with relentless techno rhythms and minimalist compositions enlivened by live acoustic instrumentation. As they say: emotional body music. After a series of live concerts with a ten-piece miniorchestra, this time in Prague, they will present a three-hour DJ set.  

The evening will open with a concert of Tomáš Martínek aka TMA who creates melancholic music full of resonating lo-fi pads and muted deep beats against a backdrop of fragmented urban field recordings. All his live sets are accompanied with live piano and algorithmic projections. Closing duties are in the hands of NCOL, whose groovy and rhythm-driven sets can lure you into an ecstatic frenzy, uplift your soul, or break your heart. Either way, they never fail to deliver the punches.
