Dělení těla by Darina Alster: Book Launch

  We would like to invite you to the book launch of Dělení těla which will take place within the FOOD STUDIO, Residency Program at MeetFactory. The launch will be accompanied by short exposes of our guests and will be followed by a discussion about the concept of the book with its author Darina Alster.
 

When it comes to the body, no matter what emancipatory practice you are trying to do, the taboo is always there again and again, just like love, fear, and other archetypes. Negation creates tension, something is simply not allowed, which in turn provokes imagination.

The publication Dělení těla is based on an effort to explore the question of the body as a tabooed object and to seek contradictory methods to emancipate the body.
Today we present a collection of texts that have been produced thanks to the commitment of an international group of authors.

The event takes place at studio 21. Free entry.
