Erika de Casier (PT) (DK) + Tokyo Drift (CZ)

Despite her young age, the Portugese-born, Copenhagen-based Erika de Casier has lot under her belt already – at 15 she cofounded the r’n’b duo Saint Cava, then at 16 she played the renowned Roskilde festival, at 20 she released her solo debut Essentials that appeared in many end-of-year music polls and best-of lists (Mixmag, FACT, Crack). Two years later she returns with her second record Sensational, to be released on the renowned 4AD label and preceded by the single Polite which is already up on all streaming platforms accompanied by a music video directed by de Casier herself. Erika draws from club beats, bossanova and millennial r’n’b to create an introspective, clever pop that might become the soundtrack for the uncertain summer of 2021.
