Grainy soundtracks for drizzly days. Eterna's downcast indie rock heads to Prague for the first time in May

Eterna is the moniker of Barcelona-born & London-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Guillem Peeters, who has already played at MeetFactory before as the drummer with bar italia back in 2023. A collaborative EP with Nina Cristante (dream scenario) came a few months later, adding to the list of Eterna's collaborative projects that also includes amalcrossing or Rita P.

In his solo work, Peeters is the author and an observer both at the same time. Eterna tells the stories of characters that face the feelings of isolation and alienation in an always rushing world, standing still as the people and places around them constantly move and change. Sonically, the songs are gritty yet ethereal, introspective yet open-ended, intersecting post-rock, grunge, shoegaze and slowcore. Debunker, the project's sophomore full length-record, follow up to 2023's debut wardrove, is releasing now New York-based label section1 (Fazerdaze, Blonde Redhead, Hildegard).
