Sheer guitar joy. The maximal minimal​ rock'n'roll of Chicago-based trio Glyders heads back to MeetFactory after two years, bringing their new album Forever in May

Glyders are a hidden gem of the American psychedelic scene. With their compact, analog lo-fi sound and hypnotic riffs, the band found a home at the legendary label Drag City who released both their successful debut Maria’s Hunt as well as the sophomore Forever.

On the new record, now officially a trio consisting of Joshua Condon, Eliza Weber, and Joe Seger, Glyders blend groovy psychedelia with garage blues-rock – resulting in eight tracks in their singular style. Electrifying, trippy rock’n’roll – no fuss, just vibes. Forever starts now!

The night will open with Bugmen, a mainstay of the local alternative scene whose signature sound draws from the noise pop and lo-fi slacker rock of the 90s, in the spirit of bands like Pavement, Sonic Youth, or Guided by Voices. Over the years, Bugmen have released several EPs and contributed to compilations on independent labels, ranging from Brazil to the USA. And although they do play live only sporadically, Bugmen have performed at pioneering Czech festivals such as Fluff Fest and Creepy Teepee.
