Summer Cinema: Anatomy of a Fall

Deafening R&B music, the majestic French Alps, a sunny day. A scene that doesn’t quite fit with the sight of a man’s dead body beneath the cabin window. Was it suicide, an unfortunate accident, or is Sandra – a writer whose headstrong nature makes her the prime suspect – responsible for her husband’s death? The public investigation into the case reveals not only the circumstances of the death itself but also intimate and disturbing details of their tumultuous relationship. Anatomy of a Fall catapulted actress Sandra Hüller to stardom, earning her an Oscar nomination for her performance.

Summer Cinema returns to MeetFactory for the fourteenth time. A curated selection of eleven films will be screened in the Factory's backyard, as selected by the members of the venue's team. In June and July, the screenings begin at 9:30 p.m.; in August and September at 8:30 p.m. Before the film, the current exhibitions in MeetFactory Gallery and Kostka Gallery can be visited free of charge. A bar is available on site, and admission to all screenings is free.
