All Czechs can quote from this movie. Black and white classic film that is considered for one of the best movie of Czech new wave. Daily small talks, monologues without the point and absurd situations – that is the life of young man who is on the edge of childhood and adulthood. Milos Forman´s debut was filmed with documentary camera so the movie precisely caught the spirit of the 60´s in Czechoslovakia.
