Balu Brigada, who opened for Twenty One Pilots this year, are returning to Prague! For the first time as part of their own Portal European Tour. The New Zealand duo of brothers Henry and Pierce Beasley, combining catchy pop with funk and indie influences, will perform at MeetFactory on April 15.

​​Balu Brigada creates multidimensional alternative pop characterized by rich live instruments, cinematic production, and festival hits. Henry and Pierre Beasely—a brother duo from Auckland, New Zealand, singers, songwriters, and producers of Balu Brigada—effectively transcend sonic boundaries with their music. From high school onwards, they independently honed their craft for years until finally signing with Warner Music Australia, Atlantic Music Group, and ARRO Records in the United States. The group has built its distinctive sound with the EPs I Should Be Home [2022] and Find A Way [2023] – notably with the popular track "Designer," which has racked up 26 million plays on Spotify and counting. Along the way, they earned praise from everyone from Rolling Stone, Coup de Main, i-D, and OnesToWatch to People, who dubbed them "best new artist." Twenty One Pilots even selected Balu Brigada as special guests on their massive "Clancy Tour" across North America, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the UK. The duo reached a critical point with their song "So Cold." Not only has it racked up a total of 34 million plays and counting, but it also reached number one on American radio for the first time, topping the Alternative chart. They made their late-night television debut on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, where they gave a stunning performance of the song. In addition, the song secured a prestigious spot on the official FIFA 2025 soundtrack, and SiriusXM named it a "Critical Cut." After amassing hundreds of millions of streams and sold-out concerts, the band reached a whole new level with their debut album Portal, which they introduced with the single "Backseat."
