Italian singer-songwriter Lucio Corsi, who shone at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Basel and subsequently conquered the European charts with his single "Volevo Essere un Duro," will perform at Prague's MeetFactory on February 5.

The charismatic musician from Tuscany, winner of the prestigious Targhe Tenco awards, will bring to Prague an original combination of original rock, folk, and surrealist poetics. This tour will be the perfect opportunity for the artist to embrace his international audience after representing Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, placing fifth. After Eurovision, his song “Volevo Essere un Duro” quickly spread across Europe, entering the Spotify Viral 50 chart in 23 European countries and reaching the Top 50 on both Spotify and Apple Music in 16 markets.

These new important steps in his journey follow his recent double win at the prestigious Targhe Tenco awards, where he was honored in the categories “Best Song” and “Best Album” for the song and album “Volevo essere un duro”. The Tenco Awards are one of Italy’s most prestigious music honors, recognizing artists who have made significant contributions to the art of songwriting. Born in Tuscany, Lucio Corsi combines the depth of Italian authorial rock with folk influences, weaving surreal imagery into poetry and connecting an occasionally grotesque world to a musically rich structure.
