Make time to live! – Such is the main motto of Midi Lidi (Midi People) on their fourth album Give Masterpiece a Chance!, referred to by the band as an optimistic summer record. Key are the sentences from their lyrics “zruš ten deadline!/kill that deadline!”, “kámoše prozvoň!/drop call your friend!” and “pojď ven!/come out!”. Compared to their previous albums, this clearly most positive and smash LP from their whole discography brings many more live instruments. You will hear not only classic synthpop or electro-disco, but also by krautrock influenced songs in the lineup percussions-bass-guitar-moog, existential bathing slow dance and a strange big beat.  

As with the previous record, Marek-Holoubek-Kelar trio’s Give Masterpiece a Chance! will get its release-party at MeetFactory again, on Monday 7th November. With congratulations will come special guests: Mayen, Ľubo Burgr & Pjoni, Ventolin DJ set.

The show is sold out. The last 50 tickets will be available on the day of the event from 8 p.m. at the MeetFactory entrance. Limit 2 tickets per person. Reservations are not possible and tickets will be sold on the first-come, first-served basis.
