Parquet Courts (US) + Pill (US)

New York-based post-punk outfit Parquet Courts return to Prague, a year after their sold-out show at the (sadly, now closed) Basement Bar. These lo-fi guitar adorers rooted in Texas have been on the top of the US indie scene for the past five years. Already their debut album Light Up Gold (2012) stirred public attention and the third album Sunbathing Animal (What´s Your Rupture) fired the band lead by Andrew Savage and Austin Brown up to the world indie music elite (55th position in the Billboard album chart). After releasing their 5th studio album "Human Performance" (4/5 on Guardian, Best New Music on Pitchfork), they will demonstrate why they are the current indie audience lieblings. 

The support slot belongs to Brooklyn-based no-wave band Pill led by the charismatic Veronica Torres.Their debut album Convenience (released by Mexican Summer label this August) combines politically explosive lyrics with contempt for rock formalism.
