Post-hardcore legends Pile return to Prague after six years, bringing their ninth studio album Sunshine and Balance Beams to MeetFactory in November

Your favourite band's favourite band. Pile emerged from guitarist Rick Maguire’s solo project around 2009 in the vibrant DIY scene of Boston. Since their collective debut Magic Isn't Real in 2010, Pile have been pushing a singular melancholic sound that embraces the dynamic tension between moments of breathless silence and cathartic explosions of noise, blending elements of experimental rock and post-hardcore.

They last performed in Prague in 2019 with their acclaimed album Green and Gray, and this coming November, Pile return with their fresh LP Sunshine and Balance Beams, releasing in August. The album captures Pile at a moment of reflection — embracing uncertainty, rejecting expectations, and finding meaning in the act of creation itself.
