MeetFactory & A.M.180: Tama Gucci + Izzy Spears + Guest User

Izzy Spears & Tama Gucci. Two bold names on the queer contemporary underground scene overseas. Their common denominator is the collective and label Anonymous Club, a group of artists, designers, and musicians led by Shayne Oliver, the founder of the legendary project and fashion brand Hood By Air.

Tama Gucci's sound oscillates between pop and R&B, nostalgia and futurism, reflecting his Jamaican roots and passion for 90s breakbeat, jungle and miami bass. He recently followed up on his 2021 debut EP Almost Blue with an extended After Hours edition featuring six remixes from Autow Nite Superstore, Swami Sound or Phyzical Trax as well as a cover of Britney's Toxic. ​

Izzy Spears has recently returned from a European tour with Yves Tumor, and has a string of successful singles to his credit (like last year's FIST and Bad News), as well as a show at New York's Boiler Room. This year he's set to release his debut EP, which will offer a unique fusion of rock, punk and grunge with hip hop.  

The local guest of the night will be Guest User. "I love cliché, I love autotune, I love rap." On his debut album Mood, he dirties the trap sound with dissonant guitars and influences from punk and noise, then takes it to new levels on last year's EP Troubles in Palmovka Paradise.
