Tjant + Božské Soaré

Tjant’s music is a reflection of the musical styles the members of the group are involved with at any given time. The current Tjant line up, consisting of Heðin Ziska Davidsen (guitar, synths, electronics) Mikael Blak (bass, synths, electronics) and Per Ingvaldur Højgaard Petersen (drums, drum programming, electronics) are all active as producers and musicians with acts like Eivør, Marius Ziska, Kóboykex, Klingra, Elinborg and Yggdrasil to name a few. These various musical expressions all encourage various approaches to music making and performance and these various approaches are combined in Tjant. The outcome is improvised electronic rock varying from melodic to frantic expressions.  

Božské Soaré is an electroacoustic duo of composer Richard Grimm (Boh Vajec, God and Eve, Raptor Koch) and producer Dominik Novák (Katov syn(th), Kúpeľ Mysle, The Blackwood Incident). They utilize handcrafted instruments to create rhythmic patterns, enrich piano sounds, and, in some cases, also to generate melodies. Their performances are controlled by the cable monster - a modular synthesizer that acts as the central brain of the operation. Musically, they explore the intersection of minimalist melodies, ambient textures, and pulsating rhythms, all infused with danceable energy. So far, they have released the single Únik z rajskej záhrady, recorded as a live session in a Jewish synagogue, as well as a live performance from Zrkadlový háj in Bratislava, titled Unavený Félix.
