Treska Jednoskvrnná: album release + in.numbers

Treska Jednoskvrnná will celebrate the release of their debut album schovaný v trávě at MeetFactory. The record marks a step toward a new sound for the band. Leaning into punk, saturation, and gritty distortion, it’s grounded in Czech lyrics and occasional glimpses of melancholy and helplessness. The desire to hide away while also basking in the sun runs through the group’s current artistic expression.

The album was created over the past year and a half at Golden Hive Studios, as well as in various locations across the Czech Republic: in cottages from Bozejny to Šternberk and during the band's Tripy Tour concert run. At the beginning of this year, Treska released a music video for the song Zimní slunce, which is part of the release. The five-piece band released their first EP, Pink Štafls, in 2021, named after the stepladder that remains part of their stage presence to this day. The evening will open with the German project in.numbers.
