An October edition of multigenre evening in MeetFactory will present an opening of the exhibition Ice Age by Ivan Svoboda, the program will also feature a guided tour through the exhibition Laughter and Forgetting by Jaro Varga and our artists in residence will prepare for you a special evening program at the first factory floor.

ICE AGE
In his solo exhibition for the Kostka Gallery, Ivan Svoboda will present  a video installation and a series of photographs depicting the quest of the wandering Homo sapiens sapiens for better life while overcoming various traps and adversities. The desired destination is a small village nearby Česká Lípa in the Czech Republic.  

GUIDED TOUR OF THE LAUGHTER AND FORGETTING EXHIBITION
Laughter and Forgetting exhibition explores the malleability of memory, pain of laughter, the interrelationship between public and private life, and the deception of human relationships, taking its start from Milan Kundera’s The Book of Laughter and Forgetting written in 1978 and published while in exile in Paris
