EXHIBITION 15 000 YEARS
OF SAMENESS
The
exhibition 15000 Years of Sameness
confronts the creation of two artists of different generations and nations. The
post‐revolutionary
generation is represented by Rumanian artist Dan Perjovschi, younger generation
by Czech artist Matěj Smetana. Both artists share a subtle irony that erodes
our stereotypes in apprehending the established cultural mechanisms of everyday
reality.
EXHIBITION SOMNIUM
An exhibiton of Kuba Woynarowski inspired by first sci-fi
novel Somnium by Johannes Kepler will bring together several issues linking Nuremberg Constructivists from Renaissance time and the 20th century avant-garde.
VIDEO BE BRAVE
In the video Be Brave Barbora Kropáčková uses intense pictorial memories to return to an
unchanged environment of a child sanatorium showing how the sanatorium
environment and its domestic rules formed experiences of several generations of
children staying at a similar type of institution.
