WHY?

Yoni Wolf and his project WHY? have spent the last two decades mapping the vibrant musical realms where kaleidoscopic indie rock meets the spirit of hip-hop and synth-pop's nostalgia. The band currently features Wolf's brother (drummer) Josiah and multi-instrumentalists Doug McDiarmid and Matt Meldon.

WHY? have just released their eighth studio album The Well I Fell Into. The fourteen post-breakup ballads mark a shift from sonic experimentation and eclecticism towards more accesible, yet still poignant lyrical songwriting. “I used to be married, now I drag around the ring on a sling in a barrel of salt.” WHY? are taking the new record on a European tour with a stop at MeetFactory – where they return on March 18 after thirteen long years.
