Alina Kleytman

Alina Kleytman work as an artist mostly with video installation and sculpture; and as a curator of performance show.She was born in 1991 in Kharkiv, Ukraine and received her Bachelor's degree in the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts in the specialty of Monumental Sculpture in 2012. From 2012 to 2015, she studied at the Rodchenko Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia in the studio "Video Art and Installation" and also "Photography, Sculpture, Video".Since 2009 she has participated in exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad, was a nominee of the Pinchuk Art Prize 2011 and a winner of the Non Stop Media Biennial. In 2010, Alina in the building of the former stables opened her own gallery-laboratory where she curated a lot of projects. In 2013 she curated the project Room Temperature within the framework of Unrespectable of Boris Mikhailov. In 2015 Alina won the Pinchuk ArtCentre Special Prize for young artists. In 2017,  Alina exhibited her works in Moscow, St.Petersburg, Kyiv, Budapest and Paris. She won the Public Choice Award at the Pinchuk Art Centre Prize 2018 and Woman in Art for impact in gender equality  prize from UN Woman in 2021.
