Alina Panasenko

Alina Panasenko is an emerging artist and director, b.2000 (Severodonetsk, Ukraine) and based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Member of Ukrainian Film Academy, member of MYPH collective. She directed the s/f "20-11-7.mp4" (winner IFF Molodist 2021), and the s/f "Teatralna station" (winner Tel Aviv SFF best editing award 2023). Was working as a script breakdown writer for the feature film "La Palisiada" dir. Philip Sotnychenko. In artistic practice she develops the theme of personal and public space, reflecting on regional issues of her hometown (Luhansk region), and also working with physicality. Main medium she uses is image and all its derivatives (video, photography, 3D print, etc.)
 

Education:
Studied in KNUTCT (screenwriter, bachelor), Serhiy Melnychenko MYPH School (conceptual and art photography), Pinchuk Art Centre curatorial courses.
