Gaby Taplick

About:
Gaby Taplick (1972) is a german visual artist based in Berlin.
Her sculptural and installative works are made by unspectacular found materials which are anchored in everyday perception space, such as plywood, chipboard, paperboard or cloth. She uses specific surfaces and the resulting haptic as a composition and lets them communicate with the surrounding space.

Education:
Between 2001 and 2007 she studied Fine Arts at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hanover (Germany), where she finished with a master degree.
