Jamal Ageli

Jamal Ageli (b. 1997, Limburg a.d. Lahn, Germany) is a lens-based artist and designer working with photography and video art. Focused on developing strong images of the intersection of science, technology and fashion, Jamal Ageli combines a lifelong fascination for optics and natural phenomena with an abstract vision of our existence on this planet. His artistic approach translates into a visual language that is shaped by abstraction, oversaturation and image manipulation to create a sense of enhanced reality imbued with notions of doubt, disbelief and wonder.
