Larissa Schlicher

Larissa Schlicher (b. 1993, Leonberg, Germany; based in Dresden, Germany) is a sound artist. She produces ambient music with an experimental and conceptual approach. Through a combination of synthesisers, field recordings, voice, and text, she creates atmospheric soundscapes. She wants to tell stories with her sets, combining different moods together - some parts dark and unsettling, others dreamy and melancholic. 

Larissa is interested in the experience of sound as a physical sensation. Her musical intention is to guide the audience from consumption toward a more conscious perception of sensations involved with sound. This active way of listening allows sounds, noises, and silence to be experienced on a deeper level. She views the performance space and everything that happens within it as the framework of her sets. Every sound, as well as scents, visual impressions and atmospheres, shape the experience.

Together with Felix (superciaooo), Larissa is part of the ambient music project mikromission and she is a co-founder of the FLINTA*- producer collective Flimmergrenze. She was the producer of the feminist rap crew Parallelklasse.
