Marion Ritter

Marion Ritter is a Cologne based critic, curator and editor. She is founder and editor of Artblog Cologne (www.artblogcologne.com), a website on art for the wider Cologne region (Bonn, Düsseldorf, Essen, the BeNeLux). The site brings together the region’s most important art critics, authors as well as curated artist projects. Artblog Cologne also collaborates with institutions such as museums and archives. 

As a freelance curator Marion has been realizing various exhibitions with the artspace OG2 (such as at Kölnischer Kunstverein), "Columns" at Galerie Desaga, and projects in the framework of "Die beste aller Welten". She has been editor of a series of magazines for "Skulptur Projekte Münster 07" and worked as a publishing assistant at Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther König.

She owns a Master degree in Curatorial Studies from Bard College, New York.
