Markéta Jáchimová (b. 1988) is a Czech-born, Switzerland-based visual artist exploring the relationship between nature, tradition, and consumer culture. Drawing on her Western Slavic roots and childhood in the Czech countryside, she works across object, image, and installation. Using recycled textiles, ceramics, ready-made objects, and natural materials, she transforms discarded elements to reflect on human impact, memory, and our relationship with the natural world.
RESIDENCY PROJECT
Working with discarded textiles, natural, and ready-made materials, Markéta plans to create new forms while leaving her own traces through the process of making.
Residency dates: 16.10. – 30. 11. 2026
