About:
Marta is mostly inspired by existing space, creates installations and site-specific projects. Her artistic preoccupations revolve around dreams, memories, remembered or imagined landscapes. Using found objects and following decisions already made she constructs narratives in which she analyzes the nature of human action, often stressing its absurdity. Marta lives in small village in the centre of Poland and works in her garage. She is a winner of the Grand Prix at the Young Wolves Art Festival in Szczecin, the Grey House Foundation Prize in Cracow, and the Best Art Graduation Project in Gdańsk, all in 2018.
