Nino Zirakashvili

About:

Nino Zirakashvili was born in Tbilisi (1989). She lives and works in Rustavi and Tbilisi. Nino is a textile artist, create an embroidery, use prints and other techniques for her objects. The contexts of works concerns with topics such as “New Cosmic research”, “A human and social place” and “Impact of social networks”. Nino participates in different art projects; she was a resident in State Silk Museum and participated in workshop where she create an Artists Book ( 2018).  In Zemo-Nikozi she researched the history of the August War from the Nikozi's resident and made an art piece (2018).

Education:

2011 – 2016 graduated Tbilisi state academy of arts. Faculty of Design BA and MFA
2005 – 2009 studied an Art school, at faculty of design (Costume design)

The residency of Nino Zirakashvili is a part of the project The New Dictionary of Old Ideas.
