StonyTellers

StonyTellers are pilgrims on a journey through a virtual landscape in the reality of anxiety. Two stones passing through a terrain, which humans adapted to their own needs and thus forced them to move. Nomads honouring the minimalist way of life. Contemplation became a creative activity, which was replaced by the creation of new material works.

The artistic duo originated in the sculpture studio at UMPRUM in Prague. The group responds to the functioning of artistic operations in times of climate change. In their performances, through the collective sharing of stories and food, they explore topics which are raised by the current state of the world. As artists, they are looking for new possible alternatives. Within the performances, they actively involve the audience in the story and thus create space for the emergence of new relationships. EMOTION - ATTENTION - BELIEVE - MEMORABILITY
