Theo Cleary is an illustrator, installation artist, costume designer and amateur shaman from Edinburgh, whose work concerns bringing to life joyfully nightmarish pocket universes.
He is fascinated with the power of storytelling and the presence of metaphorical monsters, and so through drawing, building, sewing and writing, he attempts to explore and challenge ideas of gender, eroticism, escapism and fatalism.
Outside of his personal projects, Theo enjoys working collaboratively behind the scenes, making costumes, sets and props from small theater productions.
