graduated from Bezalel
Academy of Art and Design (Jerusalem) and was an exchange student at the Slade
School of Fine Arts (London). He participated in the International Artists Residency at the
National Art Studio in Seoul under the 2014 Unesco Aschberg Scholarship and is
currently enrolled in the MFA program at Hunter College (New York).
Hacmon is interested in the tensions between
human and inhuman, the anonymous and the intimate, the visible and the
invisible, omnipresent in the contemporary cityscapes. Combining industrial
materials and found objects, he incorporates these tensions into a falsified
environment to invite viewers to push the boundaries between familiar and
