Vicent Orts

Vicent Orts (Valencia, 1995) is an industrial designer that seeks to generate a debate about the temporality of materials by relocating production and working with the pre-existing. Rather than consume new raw materials, he generates sustainable workflows and results that are emotionally linked to their contexts by taking advantage of available resources in their immediate environments. Due to these conditions, his work is connected to local materials and traditional crafts mixed with new industrial and technical processes.

Graduated in Industrial Design Engineering in 2017, moved to Madrid in 2019 to work for Spanish designer Jorge Penades for later moved to The Netherlands to work for Lex Pott and Odd Matter, among others. In 2022, Vicent moved back to Valencia and settled up his studio.
