We are excited to invite you to an art workshops dedicated to Ukrainian Teenagers, organised by MeetFactory's Artists-in-Residence programme.


📌 Workshop with Planeta Kuz 
📌 "Moving costume" is a workshop for children that appears at scenography, costumes, and performance arts intersect. How to make a costume or scenography that moves, sings or screams? We will try to find the answer to this and many other questions during the workshop together. 
📌 Salty & sweet snacks and drinks provided throughout the whole afternoon

📌 Workshop with Maria Toboła

📌 We will meet at MeetFactory's kitchen with Maria, where (based on Swedish sandwich cakes) we will try to recreate our portraits and eat them together!

📌 A part two of the basic cell animation workshop including some figurative drawing with Darrell Jónsson, who has been working at MeetFactory as a resident for several years under his alias Urban Space Epics.

📌 workshop with Oksana Proshutya and Svitlana Reinish
At the Oksana's workshop we will make postcards using the stamp technique. The children will make some stamps themselves from improvised items (carrots, potatoes, erasers). 

Svitlana will present the basics of digital art. Focuses on the combination of technology and aesthetics. She will present the fundamentals of visual arts.

Basic Cell Animation Workshop
Participants as a team will learn how to produce a short experimental video animation sequence. The workshop also provides practical experience of industrial processes and team work -- as applied to positive visible results in making art. The basic tools and methods used can be easily replicated by participants for use in their own ongoing work.

​The workshops take place at MeetFactory (tram stop Lihovar) and are free of charge, suitable for kids between 10 a 18 years of age.

12. 5. 
📌 workshop 
This time, the participants will be working on a project inspired by cities we live in, with our resident Mina. The project will be reflected by installing a large map using drawing and paper formation, presenting a hope of collaboration for rebuilding our cities with different methods through thinking in maps.
