Gastrofaza• The Food Symposium

G̾a̾s̾t̾r̾o̾f̾a̾z̾a̾ is a gathering of artists, food practitioners and residents of the Meetfactory Food Studio.   Conceived as a symposium, a platform for presenting and sharing various approaches to cooking as an art practice or food-related artistic research, the event will eventually evolve into a unique culinary competition. Combining a twisted supper club with a bit of reality TV and summer camp vibes we wish to bring together food, art, performance, and sass into one playful pot. That means we meet to eat, share food, our work and inspos, discuss, eat more, and when all is said and done judge each other and compete for the title.   

G̾a̾s̾t̾r̾o̾f̾a̾z̾a̾ in Polish stands for munchies - the unstoppable desire for a snack often caused by an altered state of mind. A bodily reaction that follows a mental high. What if we swap the logic of munchies and create a situation where the appetite comes with eating? More appetite for more food. Food that opens the door to mind alteration. 

On 19 July at 20:00, the public Grand Finale and the announcement of the first prize will take place concert by Marie Lukáčová and DJ set by P3P.

The event takes place in Krkonoše.
