Soirée: Čáry máry | d'epog, Mat213, Anna Ročňová, Step By Step, A–i–R*s

This year's edition of the summer art party in the Smíchov factory is just around the corner. With the d'epog collective, we'll get to brew a mind-boosting elixir in the exhibition Only Transitions and Translations, MeetFactory residents will guide us through their studios alongside the curators, and we'll say goodbye to a pair of current exhibitions with a guided tour, the one in Kostka will even be presented by its author Anna Ročňová, all against the backdrop of lo-fi outsider rap Mat213 and a selection by DJ Step By Step.

d'epog: Čáry máry 
A fusion of contemporary performance art and the ancient school of preparing magic potions and elixirs. In the middle of the exhibition Only Transitions and Translations, the d'epog collective will build a magic cauldron and brew a mind-strengthening elixir. You can join in the preparation of the elixir with them, bring your own cauldron and brew under supervision is also possible. If you want to cook it yourself, you will need two sets of ingredients. The ones from the first group are collected principally between sunset and midnight: Sucrose, Citric Acid, Taurine, Ginseng Root Extract, L-Carnitine-L-Vivan, Benzoic Acid, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B6, D-Glucoronolactone, Inositol. Ingredients from the second group are collected principally between midnight and sunrise: Glucose syrup, Carbon dioxide, Sodium citrate, Caffeine, Sorbic acid, Anthocyanins, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B12, Sodium chloride, Guarana seed extract.

mat213
A little bit lo-fi pop and a little bit outsider rap, Matěj Čech aka mat213 is developing modern songwriting for the ADHD generation of the early 21st century. The post-internet bard, with a moniker that refers to the folklore of digital culture, may have his roots in simple songwriting, but even that is gradually changing as he packs in influences from rap, dream pop, hyperpop, traces of medieval lute and a heavy load of club and dance music.

Step by Step 
DJ and visual artist. An important aspect of her sets is the crossover between black shamanism and nostalgic songs of white pop culture of the 90'-00'. From raw recordings of African vocal chants and rhythmic percussion to the intellectual beginnings of techno; recordings of activist protests in a mix of experimental tribal and ritualistic drums. An atmosphere without inhibitions, prejudices and boundaries. Music as a mantra healing the mind, the club as a temple - a place of unification, freedom, tolerance.
