Paranoid London (UK)
Vinyl only. Limited. Own record label. Pure analogue machinery. I can’t really get more original than that. Their records sell out before they even reach the soters. Who needs a time machine when Paranoid London – indeed is a time machine. So grab your old smiley face T-shirt, put on a happy grin on your face and get on the dancefloor! Their live set is the most energetic, unpredictable, raw electronic music show out there. Let there be 303. Let there be Acid. House. A Czech premiere.

Demdike Stare (UK)
A collaboration between Sean Canty and Miles Whittaker, two childhood friends from the North of England with voracious appetites for record collecting. The pair started working in earnest back in 2008, re-appropriating sounds they had spent a lifetime cataloguing into weird and immersive music of their own, releasing a trio of albums (Symbiosis, Tryptych and Elemental), loosely themed around the occult and the rich heritage of Library music. From 2013 onwards, the ongoing series of exploratory 12” under “Testpressing” banner appears on Modern Love, finding Demdike heading onto more intense, brutal terrain. A Czech premiere.

Sherwood & Pinch (UK)
Sherwood & Pinch is the collaboration between Adrian Sherwood, the dub innovator and owner of the On-U Sound label, and Pinch, the brains behind the Tectonic label and master of darkly filtered bass science. Sherwood and Pinch have continued to devastate the dancefloors around the globe with their deeply bass-driven futuristic sound. Late Night Endless (released in February 2015) is their first full length album and the culmination of two years of developing, deconstructing, dubing & re-dubing tracks in their studio. A Czech premiere.

Lišaj (CZ)
Mikuláš Odehnal is the long-sought pearl of Czech experimental scene, part of (now defunct) LES collective, who released his debut EP cassette Szara earlier this year on Genot Centre \ Cosmic Sans label. In its 6-track, 20-something minute micro-universe, Lišaj is „digging a tunnel between the noise and his voice”, delivering an ethereal take on rap with creeping, slow beats and vocal utterances muffled under a sidechained mass of static-heavy pile of sound.

Yukimura (CZ)
Thick beat & bassline provider, producer & promoter, Yukimura has been a mainstay on Czech club scene for more than 10 years. Standing behind the United Fources of Dub label and collective, he’s been collecting and spinning vinyls ranging from dub to afrobeat, from funk to jazz.
