Join us for a chance to see and enjoy what each department has to offer - this time we're combining our Gallery, Theater, Music, and Artists - in - Residence for an art and music filled night!

MeetFactory Gallery - from 7:30pm
Opening of the exhibition Between Walls

This exhibition brings together four artists selected by curator Zuzana Jakalová. Terry Smith (UK), Deok Yeoung Gim (KO), Hong Seon Jang (KO/US), Martin Dašek (CZ) continuously engage within their work with the limits, both architectural space and social and political spaces.

Kostka Gallery - from 7pm
Opening of the Exhibition Oscillations by French artist Thomas Bischoff.

For Bischoff, movement can create an interactive physical situation, but can also represent a poetic metaphor. And thus earth, wind, and fire are in motion in his works, just as his iron objects themselves.

Concert Hall - from 9pm
Austrian trio Elektro Guzzi will perform, presenting their new album "Observatory".

Elektro Guzzi participated in numerous progressive festivals such as Sónar in Barcelona, Melt! in Germany, and the Rokslide in Denmark because of their phenomenal live performances, which combine dance fusion with live rock instruments (guitar, bass, drums). This concert has been made possible because of the kind support of the Austrian Cultural Forum.

Artist - in - Residence - from 7pm
British resident Theo Cleary’s work includes illustration and scenography. Christine Rahn will present her results from her analysis of relationships between the public audience and local communities, and to cultural centers. Slovak artist Anabela Zigova, who is currently living in the US, will present her first long-format film titled Salto Morale. In his studio, Mexican resident Plnio Galindo will present his thoughts between personal histories and forensic medicine. Hungarian artist Csaba Árpád Horváth will present to visitors his work about collective memories through the architecture and historical representations of public spaces.

Our long - term residents such as Viktor Valášek and Urban Space Epics will also open their studios and welcome visitors.
