Studios

The studios are located directly in the MeetFactory building, an industrial building in Prague's Smíchov district, in a specific space between a motorway and an active railway line. The building is easily accessible by public transport, the nearest tram stop is approximately 7 minutes walk away. The Smichovské nádraží metro station is also nearby (approx. 15 minutes walk). On the ground floor of the building there is a concert and theatre hall and extensive gallery space.

The residential floor has an area of 3500 m2 and hosts up to 30 artists annually. The studios are not wheelchair accessible unlike most MeetFactory spaces, located on the first floor without an elevator. The residential floor includes a sauna and communal kitchen, which all residents have access to. MeetFactory also offers residents the use of a laundry room and a workshop with technical equipment including woodworking and metalworking tools under professional supervision. 

The MeetFactory allows for the rental of lights, screens, projectors and other technical equipment necessary for the realization and presentation of residents' artistic projects. The unique position of the studios in a space that also has a very high quality music and theatre dramaturgy and a pair of galleries offers a rich cultural programme.
