Residency program

The international residency program is one of the key areas of MeetFactory’s cultural activities. 

It rests on two pillars: residency of foreign artists at MeetFactory and exchange programmes. 
Annually, 3500 square metres and 10 studios are available to almost 30 art professionals from abroad on the first floor of MeetFactory. The program’s focal point is international visual artists. Over ten years, MeetFactory has been proud to welcome big number of renowned artists from all around the world. 
Because MeetFactory joins art different forms in such a unique way, as of 2018 the residency program will open up to themes and ideas related to Central European identity. We have been working on a project combining current political issues, cultural studies and speculative potential of art.
