Adam Gruba
Adam Gruba (born 1988) graduated from the Performance Department at the Faculty of Intermediate and Pedagogical Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Fellowship of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia - Darmasiswa (here is a year).
It deals with performance, video, object and text. Author of GOLEM philosophy. His actions show a fine line between art and life, creation and reality. He breaks conventions and tries to use them against himself.
Participated in many exhibitions and festivals of performance art, among others. Bizzare On Stage Festival, ISI Theater, Yogyakarta, Indonesia; Voyage 2, part of New Performance Turku Festival, Helsinki, Finland; Exist-ence, performance art and action art, Brisbane Powerhouse, Australia; Global Communication Festival in Radom; "Chamalle X" Performance Festival, Pontevedra, Spain, International Festival of Art Interactions in Piotrków Trybunalski.
Marta Kudelska on Gruba philosophy: "In his activities, the artist goes beyond the linguistic character of describing reality. Struggling to grasp existence, collide it with the constant construction of yourself as a medium of story. "He is the founder of the IAMESH Collective. Active on the Indonesian artistic scene. He is the founder of SESAMA's meeting place and culture house, operating in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
