Ke Sklárně 3213/15, Praha MeetFactory

25. 7. 19:00

We cordially invite you to the opening of new exhibitions at MeetFactory: Shapeshift Spaceship (MeetFactory Gallery) and Olbram Pavlíček: rigged CRASHTEST (Kostka Gallery).  The opening on 25 July will include three performances by the exhibiting artists and dj sets. The event is free.

• Anthr0morph feat. Oliver Torr: Anthr0morph Manifesto: Initiation
Moving between Athens and London, Constantine has achieved significant international acclaim by creating a complex identity of Anthr0morph that operates as much at the tantalising intersection of gender as it does in digital and physical space. For the Prague performance, they team up with musician Oliver Torr to stage a musical-performative performance together to demonstrate the mystery of "Hellenic Futurism", which technologically and ideologically updates the tradition of trans-priests in ancient Greece.

• El Pelele: Mis Canciones
Hailing from Argentina, El Pelele expresses their restless being through sculpture, drawing, music, painting and performance. El Pelele's apparitions are united by a simultaneous presence of doll-like cuteness and decadent decay, giving them a macabre touch of horror. The cabaret-style musical performance Mis Canciones will inaugurate the Shapeshift Spaceship project.

• Pope Sangreta
Transhuman alter ego of the artist Chin Tsao (Taiwan/Austria) surfs through the references of an increasingly alienated life in late capitalism. This nourishing mix combines the glamour of showbiz, the AI-tiktokized internet 3.0, petrocapitalism, extreme wealth in close proximity to extreme poverty, and the dark shadow of the fragility of it all with the possibility of catastrophe looming eerily close. Pope Sangreta's performances are hypnotic techno-rituals in a stroboscopically haunting rhythm.

The character of the late post-performance hours will be atmospherically completed by the DJ sets by hexflex (Alex Sihelsk*) and HrrHrrrrHrrr. The cosmic selection of djs with the backgrounds in post-autonomous collectives and the local queer scene ranges on a spectrum from infrared to ultraviolet, with every color of the rainbow in between.
