Synapse Knowledge 2018

Druhý ročník vzdělávacího programu určeného pro hudební umělce a hudební profesionály od 19. do 21. září budou probíhat v MeetFactory a několika špičkových nahrávacích studiích v Praze přednášky a master-classes pod vedením lektorů nebo zkušených hudebních umělců se zaměřením na digitální marketing a budování hudební kariéry a zároveň práci v profesionálním hudebním studiu.

Program je rozdělen do tří okruhů, z nichž první dva jsou přístupné pouze pro registrované s registrací 590 Kč. Registrace naleznete zde.

Celý program bude probíhat v anglickém jazyce.

Explore one of the best equipped recording studios in Czech Republic in detail with sound engineer and it’s co-founder Pavel Karlík. How to use a recording studio in a creative way, what equipment is there, why and how to approach it. Magic of recording and how to get most of the sound in post-production.

12:00 - 14:00 MIX AND MASTERING
Sound engineer and musician Ondřej Ježek works on the final steps of making a recording, and thus the resultant sound of the album. In his lecture, he will focus on a practical demonstration of mixing, which is the most crucial element in the final sound.

14:00 - 17:00 BASICS OF CREATIVE PROGRAMMING
Musician, programmer, and hacker Nontokozo F. Sihwa, known as Venus Ex Machina, will lead a workshop on creative coding in Audulus, which she sees as an entry point into the mythical character and remarkable history of communication technologies.

17:00 - 18:00 SOUND SYNTHESIS AND NEW MUSIC TECHNOLOGIES
Václav Peloušek, musician, inventor, and co-founder of Bastl Instruments will present his thought processes when constructing modular synthesisers and other technology. He will explain the principles of sound synthesis and the possibilities for using theories from physics in musical creation.
